CESA would like to say a big MAHALO to Dr. Malate and the Varona Village community for organizing this event! Also, thank you to everyone who volunteered their their time to paint the bus shelter. Here is a quote from Dr. Malate expressing her thanks on Facebook: "Thanks to CESA and Dr. Padua for a successful service learning project on 9/29/18. The volunteers worked overtime to beautify a bus shelter in ‘Ewa Varona Village. The simple structure is symbolic of the Varona residents' pride in their plantation roots and strong ties to their community. Dios ti agngina, salamat, mahalo!"
